a novel information visualization concept. |

years of support by the University of Utah Foundation Technology Innovation
Grant to develop a working prototype for anesthesia. |

The University of Utah filed the core
patent in December 1999. |

In October 1999 the group was awarded
a five year grant by the NIH to support scientific research in visualization
design, human factors, and display testing for the anesthesia application.

In May 2000 the team was
awarded one year of support by the University of Utah Foundation Technology
Innovation Grants to fund display design for finance. |

In April 2000 the team was awarded
support under the Center of Excellence Program. |

In April 2000 the team received support
from URC to acquire monitoring hardware for the entertainment project.

In January 2001 CROMDI received research
support from GE over five months with an exclusive option to license
the technology. |

In May 2001 the team was awarded second
year support under the Center of Excellence Program at an increased
funding level. |
